Statement on Proposed Fares

The Northstar Corridor Development Authority appreciates the ongoing public discussion that is occurring about the proposed rider fares for Northstar Commuter Rail service. At the Metropolitan Council’s request, we will help them conduct further analysis. We are confident this process will result in fair rates that provide value to commuters while ensuring successful and sustainable operations for Minnesota’s first commuter rail line.

We encourage people planning to ride Northstar when it begins service in November 2009 to be engaged in the process. When additional information becomes available, we will post it here. Thank you for your continued support.
